Gallery: Horizons
If you’ve read my ABOUT page (and I certainly hope you have) you know that I live in the forest. Horizons for me take an act of looking up above the trees to a tiny sliver of sky.
That’s probably why I’m drawn to paint wide open spaces. Places that exist in memory or my imagination. Fields of color abstracted to the basics. There’s a top and a bottom and sometimes, more often than not, something in between.
And always, always a color change or mark that delineates the horizon.
